Mordrelle Tasting Notes
The wine has an intense red colour hue, with floral and raspberries aromas, with hints of seasoned cedar and black pepper, Flavours are predominately savoury with earthy characters complemented by pomegranate and black berry fruits. The mouth feel is intense and smooth as a result of silky tannins. It finishes dry with a predominantly fruit aftertaste that lingers generously.
This Syrah is produced from three SA Syrah clones, and is 14% in alcohol.
Drink now to 15 years.

This cool climate, elegant, Adelaide Hills Syrah is such a delight to drink, it is fruit driven with layers of subtle oak. It matches well with mushroom risotto or a delicious paella dish,however it is one of those wines you will find goes with just about everything!
This wine comes without a label, which does not diminish the quality of the wine, but take a look at the labels on Mordrelle web site, they all depict a piece of artwork painted by Martin’s father.
