O’Leary Walker Wines was established in 2000 by winemakers David O’Leary and Nick Walker. With over twenty five years experience and established reputations making premium wine with the big companies, these two long time friends decided to take control of their own destiny and craft small batches of wine from some of the best vineyard sites in South Australia. With a great leap of faith they are now doing exactly what they set out to.
Patrick of Coonawarra
During a decorated career spanning more than three decades, he has celebrated international accolades while working as chief winemaker for several major labels. The focus then switched to fulfilling a more personal goal in the establishment of the family owned and operated Patrick of Coonawarra, in 2004.
Patrick’s eldest son, Luke, has now taken over the family business and continues to produce highly regarded wines from the famed Terra Rossa soils of Coonawarra.
“It’s always a winemaker’s dream to complete the story… To grow, make and sell our own produce gives us an enormous sense of accomplishment.”
Only the highest quality fruit is sourced from their estate owned and managed vineyards, ensuring an unwavering commitment to quality and delivering hand crafted, premium wines with Regionality and Personality.
Reilly’s Wines
Reilly’s Wines was established by Justin & Julie Ardill in 1993.Our winemaking philosophy is to produce premium wines from our Clare Valley vineyards with limited winemaking intervention, allowing this quality fruit to truly shine. Our estate grown Leasingham and Watervale vineyards are characterised by rich red loam over deep limestone. Expert management by our viticulturalist and good mate Rob Smyth ensures the vineyards are low yielding but produce intensely flavoured berries resulting in regionally distinct, fruit driven wines.
Quattro Mano
Quattro Mano is a new wine collaboration between good friends Philippe Morin, Tony Carapetis and Chris Taylor, each of whom brings a wealth of winemaking experience to this new adventure. As with many great projects, the idea was initially tossed about a dozen or so years ago but was put on hold while we all trod our own paths. Those paths have now intersected and the tiny Quattro Mano label is the result.
roviding total creative freedom, Quattro Mano allows us to pursue our collective passion for less-than mainstream varieties and European wine styles. Controlling the winemaking process from start to finish and sourcing small quantities of exceptional fruit from vineyards across a number of winegrowing regions, our goal is to create elegant and distinctive wines reflective of variety and “terroir”. Working in partnership with a number of viticulturalists, we are able to ensure we receive fruit of optimal quality and ripeness. Coupled with a non-interventionist approach to winemaking, each parcel of fruit is received and handled separately in small batches, always with a view to respecting fruit integrity and quality.
This attention to detail and personal involvement throughout the winemaking process ensures each Quattro Mano release displays wonderful purity of fruit, elegance and balance.
